Welcome to Lanesboro Local Marketplace – a retail point-of-exchange where consumers from near and far can enjoy easy access to the sustainably produced goods of local artisans and growers. Come browse our ever-changing selection of homegrown, handcrafted items.

Creative Fundraising in Store
When you visit our Marketplace, in addition to local goods, you may be surprised to find vintage, recycled and donated goods for sale. It’s all in the plan – a respectful way to generate funding. Out of the basements, attics and closets of Fillmore County and beyond we are grateful to receive some incredible contributions. Please feel invited to contribute too!

The sale of these items enables us to continue – to build membership, to offer access to the goods of more growers and producers, and to invest in essentials needed to support the exchange of local foods.

Member Consignment Sales
Lanesboro Local members are invited to sell handmade artisan goods at our Marketplace – from handsome handcrafted furniture, to Amish goods, to jewelry, soaps, fiber arts and more. Check with Marketplace Manager Linda Hazel during retail hours for guidelines and commission terms: 507-467-2944.

Our Marketplace is not yet licensed to handle food, but we are working toward that goal. In the meantime, your locally grown fruits, vegetables, honey, baked goods, preserved items, etc. may be sold producer-to-consumer at a Market Post in front of our Marketplace. Farmers Market guidelines apply. Call for fee information and to reserve a Post during any of our retail hours (except Saturday mornings’ Lanesboro Farmer’s Market).

Come shop the Marketplace.
Support favorite producers, discover new ones. Your purchases help fund our future.
